In 2010, Nathan Ammons was radically changed on a short-term mission trip to Vancouver, BC. It was there that God broke Nathan’s heart for the people of Canada and called him into full-time ministry.

About Us

In 2012, Nathan and Lindsey were married in Atlanta with a vision to one-day plant their lives in Vancouver. Together, they wanted to dedicate their ministry to seeing heart transformation, not just behavior modification. As this vision developed, God brought them to the student ministry staff of North Metro Baptist Church.

In 2015, God shifted their focus again to the people of Vancouver, giving Nathan a vision of authentic gospel community in every neighborhood of the city. These communities would live on mission together and leverage their unique gifts for the Kingdom of God. They envision a diverse group of people from various backgrounds and cultures bringing news of hope to the people of their neighborhood.

Over the past few decades, the landscape of Vancouver has seen significant transformation. The city is being re-gentrified with new buildings, high rises, sustainable communities, and green space surrounded by the mountains and ocean. These factors make it one of the most desirable places to live in the world.

Nathan and Lindsey are excited to see how God brings real transformation to the city with the gospel - changing hearts, shaping communities, and transforming the city. Not only do they see this transformation beginning in the heart of people, but in the heart of the city. Olympic Village, the initial target area, is at the very heart of Vancouver.

  • Their first date was a Skype coffee date in June 2011.
  • They both said “I do” on October 25, 2012.
  • They have a “puppy” named Mocha. When she’s not stealing socks, she’s pursuing life as a lap dog (she weighs 60 lbs...)
  • Their vacations are typically spent hiking a new trail or exploring a new city.
  • Although rivals in college football, they come together to cheer for the Vancouver Canucks.
  • Lindsey enjoys Zumba, learning new crafts, experimenting with essential oils, and creating delicious recipes with vegetables from the garden. You’ll most likely find her outside.
  • Nathan enjoys reading a good book, running (when he’s feeling motivated), discovering new coffee brewing methods, taking family walks, and talking about Jesus. You’ll most likely find him in a coffee shop.
  • Lindsey graduated from the University of Georgia with 2 degrees (B.A., Latin American and Caribbean Studies / B.A., Spanish).
  • Nathan graduated from Liberty University (Graduate of Theology certificate) and is continuing his theological education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pray

The spiritual warfare in Vancouver is visibly evident. Cultural diversity means spiritual diversity. Pray for spiritual barriers to be lifted and for hearts to be open to Jesus. Join us in praying for open doors, influence in the community, and a platform to share the gospel. Pray for our family and our financial needs to be provided.
